The project goal was to create an animal form through shapes and lines, as well as creating a poster expression with the animal form through the Fibonacci sequence.
Creature Mark

Research
I researched the most notable traits of an African elephant and brainstormed how I could convey that into my animal form.

Concepts and Ideating
The projected started with sketching different animal forms and figuring out what animal would work best geometrically. After figuring out my animal, I worked on the elephant form from there.

Final Creature Mark
The final creature mark displays forms of geometry, while still maintaining the vital characteristics of an elephant.

Poster Expression
The goal of the poster expression is to showcase the characteristics of the animal through a phrase. The phrase and animal form come together to create the poster expression, using the Fibonacci sequence.

Ideating
I chose the phrase "Never too big to smile" and worked through various styles to figure out what would work best.

Final
The final poster expression uses the phrase to visually express the characteristics of the elephant as well as the Fibonacci sequence.
